Ginger Tea

Ginger provides a host of health benefits, and incorporating fresh ginger into your diet is an excellent way to restore balance to your body. The possibilities are endless: you can add fresh ginger to a stir-fry, add it to your morning juice or smoothie, incorporate it into soups and salads, or make a cup of ginger tea.
Ginger has natural anti-inflammatory properties and is very effective in reducing swelling, muscle pain, and the pain associated with osteoarthritis. It is known to relieve and prevent indigestion and ease nausea and motion sickness.
Adding ginger to your diet is also an excellent way to boost your immune system, giving you a little extra protection during cold and flu season. Ginger is incredibly warming, and helps diminish sweet and salty cravings. Recent studies have also shown that ginger has anti-cancer properties, providing protection against both colon and ovarian cancer.
Ginger tea is so easy to prepare and is perfect on a chilly morning. It will warm you from the inside, and restore balance to your body. If you are suffering from any of the above, I hope you give it a try.
